What is Jackaroo?

Jackaroo is a marble race you play with a hand of cards. Four marbles start at home. You bring them onto the shared track, walk them around, and tuck them into your safety zone. Land on someone else's marble and it goes back to the start.

The cards are the interesting part. An Ace or a King can bring a marble out. A Jack swaps one of your path marbles with another player's. A Five can nudge any marble already on the track. A Seven can be played as one long step or split between two of yours.

In a four-player game you sit across from your partner. You win when both of you are safe, and once your own marbles are home you spend cards on theirs. In a two-player game there is no partner. It is a straight race. The full card table is on How to Play.

How a match works here

Open a match as a guest to try bots and learn the board, or create an account to keep a rating, play ranked queues, invite friends, and review past games with Jackaroo Pro. From the lobby you choose ranked matchmaking or a private room.

Matches are timed so a game can finish in one sitting. When you are ready, choose Play now, or read Getting started first if the cards are new.

Start with the written rules, then use the guides for a Ludo comparison and beginner strategy. Interactive tutorials walk through transferring out, capturing, blocks, and splitting a Seven. Guests can play those scenarios immediately. An account keeps tutorial progress across devices.
