About Us

This is a browser table for Jackaroo, the marble race people play with a deck of cards. Four marbles, a shared track, and a hand that decides how far you go.

What you can do here

You can sit down as a guest and play bots, or make an account when you want a rating, a ranked queue, and a way to invite friends. Four-player games pair you with the person across the table. Two-player games are just the two of you. Matches are timed so a game can finish in one sitting.

The cards follow How to Play: Ace and King bring a marble out, you cannot jump your own pieces, a Jack swaps one of yours with someone else's on the path, and a Seven can be split. Once your marbles are safe in a four-player game, you play for your partner. Guides and tutorials take those ideas one at a time.

A turn, briefly

You play one card, or you burn one when nothing legal helps. Small ranks step that many spaces. Landing on an opponent sends that marble home. A crowded lane of your own marbles can freeze a hand, because you cannot hop them.

The odd cards are written down so you are not guessing mid-match: a King of thirteen can clear unprotected marbles as it passes, a Queen can force the next player to burn, and a Five can move any marble already on the path.

Who it is for

Friends who already play at a table and want a remote board. New players who need the rules in writing before they queue. People who want a rating. Guests who only want a bot game.
