FAQ

Short answers for playing in the browser: guests, accounts, ranked matches, Pro, ads, and fair play.

Where do I start a game?

Open the homepage and choose Play now to reach the play page without an account. From there you can play bots or create a private lobby and share the link. Sign in when you want a rating and friend invites. The rules for the cards you will play are on How to Play.

Do I need an account?

No. Guests can play against bots, pick a name and create a private lobby, try interactive tutorials, and learn the board. Friends who open that link enter a name and sit down without an account. Create an account when you want a rating, ranked queues, friend invites, match history, and tutorial progress that follows you across devices.

What is the difference between guest and account play?

Guests are for quick sessions without email. Accounts persist your User ID, rating, friends, and settings. Tutorial progress and ranked history stay with a signed-in account across devices.

How do ranked matches work?

From the lobby, join ranked matchmaking when you have an account. Wins and losses update your rating so you can climb the rankings. Private friend rooms are separate from ranked queues.

Can I play with friends?

Yes. Anyone on the play page can create a private lobby and copy a link. Friends open that link in the browser, enter a name, and join without an account. Signed-in players can also invite friends from their friends list. Private tables that include a guest are not rated.

Where do I learn the rules?

Read How to Play for the full card table and edge cases, browse Guides for getting started and strategy, and try interactive tutorials as a guest or with an account.

What is Jackaroo Pro?

Pro is an optional subscription that removes ads across the app and unlocks extras such as game review and cosmetics. Free play remains available. See Pricing and manage billing in Settings when signed in.

Why do I see ads?

Free accounts may see ads that help fund the site. Pro removes them. Advertising consent in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland is handled through Google’s certified privacy messaging when it applies. You can also open ad privacy controls from Settings when available.

Is the game fair? What about cheating?

We expect respectful play. See our Fair Play Policy and Community Guidelines. Report problems to [email protected].

How do I delete my account?

Signed-in players can start account deletion from Settings. Details are in the Account Deletion policy. Email support if you need help.

How do I contact support?

Email [email protected] or use the Contact page. Include your account email and a short description of the issue.
