1. Welcome
Jackaroo is built to bring people together through friendly and competitive gameplay.
These Community Guidelines help ensure that every player can enjoy the Service in a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment.
By using Jackaroo, you agree to follow these Guidelines in addition to our Terms of Service and Fair Play Policy.
2. Respect Others
Treat every player with respect.
Healthy competition is encouraged, but abusive behavior is not.
Always remember that there is another person behind every account.
3. Be Respectful in Communication
When using private messages, friend requests, usernames, or future community features, you must not:
- Harass or bully others
- Threaten violence
- Encourage self-harm
- Use hate speech
- Discriminate based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, age, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation
- Repeatedly contact users who have asked you to stop
- Attempt to intimidate or blackmail another player
4. Spam
Do not spam other users.
Examples include:
- Repeated unwanted messages
- Excessive friend requests
- Advertising unrelated products or services
- Posting the same content repeatedly
- Mass messaging users
5. Offensive Content
Do not share content that is:
- Pornographic or sexually explicit
- Extremely violent or graphic
- Illegal
- Obscene
- Defamatory
- Fraudulent
- Misleading
- Intended to shock or harass others
6. Usernames and Profiles
Usernames and profile information must be appropriate.
You may not use usernames that:
- Contain hate speech
- Are sexually explicit
- Promote illegal activity
- Impersonate Jackaroo staff
- Impersonate another player
- Attempt to deceive other users
We reserve the right to require changes to usernames that violate these Guidelines.
7. Friends
The friends system exists to make it easier to play with people you know.
Please:
- Send friend requests respectfully
- Accept or decline requests honestly
- Respect another user's decision if they decline your request
Repeated unwanted friend requests may result in moderation action.
8. Private Messages
Private messaging should be used responsibly.
Do not use messages to:
- Harass
- Threaten
- Scam
- Spread malware
- Share phishing links
- Solicit personal information
- Send unsolicited advertisements
- Coordinate cheating or match manipulation
Private messages are intended for normal player communication.
9. Personal Information
Protect both your own privacy and the privacy of others.
Do not publicly share or request:
- Home addresses
- Phone numbers
- Passwords
- Payment information
- Government-issued identification
- Other sensitive personal information
Never ask another player for their account credentials.
10. Impersonation
Do not impersonate:
- Jackaroo
- Administrators
- Moderators
- Support staff
- Other players
- Public figures
False claims of authority may result in immediate disciplinary action.
11. Scams and Fraud
Do not attempt to deceive other users.
Examples include:
- Fake giveaways
- Fake subscriptions
- Phishing attempts
- Requests for passwords
- Requests for payment outside approved payment methods
- Misrepresentation of your identity
12. Illegal Activity
Do not use the Service to promote or facilitate illegal activity.
This includes:
- Fraud
- Money laundering
- Distribution of malicious software
- Criminal activity
- Illegal gambling
- Unauthorized access to computer systems
13. Reporting Problems
If you encounter:
- Harassment
- Abuse
- Threats
- Spam
- Cheating
- Offensive usernames
- Fraudulent behavior
please use the reporting tools available within the Service.
Providing false or intentionally misleading reports may itself violate these Guidelines.
14. Blocking Users
Where available, you may block other users.
Blocking is intended to give you greater control over your experience.
Blocking another user does not prevent Jackaroo from investigating reports involving either account.
15. Moderation
To help maintain a healthy community, we may:
- Remove inappropriate content
- Rename offensive usernames
- Restrict messaging
- Limit social features
- Suspend accounts
- Permanently terminate accounts
Moderation decisions are made based on the information available at the time of review.
16. Repeat Violations
Repeated violations may result in progressively stronger enforcement actions.
Serious violations may result in immediate permanent account termination without prior warning.
17. Updates
These Community Guidelines may be updated to address new features, evolving community needs, or legal requirements.
Material changes will become effective upon publication unless otherwise required by law.
